Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate

Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate

Magnesium sulphate heptahydrate is a hydrated form of magnesium sulphate that contains seven water molecules. It has properties such as being in the form of white solid crystals. It is soluble in alcohol to a limited extent, and it is odorless.

It is stable in moist air under 48°C, while in the air it loses water of crystallization and becomes a heptahydrate at room temperature. It is hygroscopic, it serves as an essential additive in the chemical sector and in the manufacturing of additional magnesium compounds.
